AI roster changes, yes or no?
Hey all,
New to the game and still trying to get up on my feet before I try to run. I am trying to keep the AI from making random trades that did not historically occur but I do want to enable historical trades. Question I have is in the League Settings page if I DO NOT allow AI to make roster changes does that mean it will also forgo historic trades in season? Thanks for the help! Cheers, Rick |

If you enable historical transactions, then AI trades will automatically be disabled.

On another note ifsay for example I wsntwd to go back in history 5 or ten years and wanted the historical transactions to take place, then make that setting. What happens once I catch up to current? Can it then be set for AI to begin random transactions and trades?

If I understand you guys correct this is something I have been struggling with for some time. Does really work ?
I like to have a league setup permitting historical transactions for the first 5-10 years without messing on my own. Then I would like to jump in, take over a team and having the AI doing free transactions. Naturally I would like to have full minor league structure on, so that might create another hickup. Think I have to eliminate foreign leagues since I fear Japanese ballplayers having a long career in Japan perhaps get messed up when they get inserted into the MLB in later years. Same goes for player "jumping" over to Japan for some time. Like Vogelsong. Guess that works now on 17, but will Vogelsong just leave during his Japan years than return automatical ? The more this game evolve the harder it gets to wrap your head around it ! Last edited by clamel; 03-09-2017 at 03:15 AM. |
