Query regarding historical logos

I had all but decided not to purchase this year's version of the game, but with the MLB license I am now actively considering the purchase. I've purchased every iteration since I read a favorable review in PC Gamer for version 6.5. Unfortunately, setting up the historical simulation that I desired has always been a tedious process for me. Remembering when I had to change team names because MLB wouldn't allow their use was one step too far. Now that team names will update at the correct times, (I'm assuming), means I'll be watching game announcements closely. I still have concerns regarding historical simulations, which I hope will be addressed in future announcements.


I'm also excited about the historical team logos. Will these update at the appropriate times also?

If you hit randomize team nicknames upon league creation the accurate nicknames will appear and will chnage according to history (for the most part) I don't think OOTP had Cleveland as the Naps. I am in 1932 in my History of the White Sox league and have not had any issues.
