Arrow Suggestion: Personnel

One i just thought of...

allow your teams personnel (bench coach, manager, hitting coach, pitching coach, etc) work with certain players to better their performance.

So for example, in the game, if a starting pitcher has 4 bad starts in a row...have an option where the pitching coach can work with one-and-one. If you have a really good graded pitching coach this should improve the player.

I think this is a realistic feature and gives incentive to hire very good coaches.

Thanks.

I was thinking about this in relation to Spring Training as well. Since a lot of teams assign their pitching coaches to work with pitchers on certain aspects of their game, maybe their delivery, or for example coaches work with certain batters on their baserunning or things like that. I think your suggestion could be a good implementation.

I think it's assumed that this is going on in the background as you acquire coaches.

if it is happening...it's not working very well.

If i hire a legendary pitching coach, who is legendary with veterans, yet a veteran starter is going 6 starts in a row and getting rocked, that's not happening in the background, IMO.

PS: This happens a lot.

And i make sure i hire great coaches and spend the money to have all excellent-legendary ratings. If that is the case, you should be awarded an incentive for that. I don't see that happening currently. IMO.

I tend to agree, I have not noticed any appreciable difference using coaches ior not. Have tried with the coaching and without the coaching and it seems to be the same to me.

Havent found anything here explaining the difference but if their is I wish I could figure it out.
