Zeke Wilson 1895
Here is Wilson as a member of the 1899 St. Louis Perfectos. He only went 1-1 that year, but at least he was taken off the Cleveland Spiders roster. He looks relieved.

Jake Stenzel 1890
1899 was his final season andStenzel was relegated to a bench position. After 35 games he was shipped off to Cincinnati to put a cap on a solid career.

Harry Felix 1901
Felix made his major league debut on the final day of the 1901 season, pitching two innings as a relief pitcher for the New York Giants. In 1902, he pitched in nine games, five as a starter, for the Philadelphia Phillies. His final major league game that season, and in his career, was on July 24th. His major league won-loss record was 1-3, and he allowed 64 hits and issued 11 bases on balls in 47 innings. Below is a nice image of him in a Philadelphia uniform. |

Arthur Goodwin 1905
Goodwin tried out for the Brooklyn Superbas in the spring training of 1905, but did not make the team and pitched for Memphis in the Southern Association that year. On the last day of the major league season, October 7th, he appeared in a game for the New York Highlanders. He pitched to five batters--walking two, giving up two hits, and throwing a wild pitch. He never again appeared in the majors, leaving him with a career ERA of 81.00 in one-third of an inning. He appears below in a formal portrait and an extract from a Brooklyn team photo taken in the spring. |

Thanks to all for setting me straight. Obviously, half right and half wrong is still WRONG. I'm sure I fell prey to the unpredictable "alphabetical grouping" many of the images fall into.

Didn't know it existed until you had us look for it. Problem with great hoard being sold off by kylesportscards is that he's basically going in alphabetical order. Not yet to K's; I am holding out hope for a true Atlanta logo George Kopacz.

Hinkey Haines 1923
Depicted here in the uniform that appears to be representative of the only season he played for the Yankees, 1923. The image though is dated 1922 in the RMY February Auction. Current facepack image shows Haines in what appears to be the 1921 uniform.
