What did Devon Travis do today? How about HIT FOR THE CYCLE! Travis went 4 for 5 and had the cycle by the 6th inning! He had 5 RBI in the 9-7 win for the Blue Jays over the Rays. A couple of three run innings did the trick as the Blue Jays beat the Spiders 6-4. Aledmys Diaz homered for Toronto. Marco Estrada left the game with hamstring tightness. Despite losing 10-5 to the Spiders, the Blue Jays' Dylan Cozens had a night to remember. Not only did he hit his first career home run, but he also hit his 2nd! Jose Abreu also homered. WP - Trevor Bauer (16-5) LP - Andrew Cashner (0-1) Record - 61-80

As the Jays lost a close one to the Spiders, falling 2-1, they are most concerned about Wei-Yin Chen and Jose Abreu both leaving the game. A couple of New Hampshire players have decided to retire.
Craig Breslow had a 13 year career before trying to make a comeback with the Jays. He couldn't make it back to the bigs and hung his spikes up at age 38. Eishin Soyogi had an 11 year career with Hiroshima in Japan before trying to end things off in Major League Baseball. Like Breslow, he could not reach the majors and retired at 38.
