MLB Scheudle Request 162 games.

Long time no see everyone. I have unfortunately drifted away from the game because I can not figure out how to get this schedule to work. I used to use the GMO ones he created for me but I switched the specifications a tiny bit. I would love to get a set of schedules created like those, especially seeing how popular those schedules were around here. Any help would be appreciated.

Here is the original thread.

http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...d.php?t=187597

GMO was able to give me 30 of these schedules and he did it in a day. 10 sets of each. Man he was amazing. If anyone could just give me 3 sets that would be awesome. One where the AL E vs NL E , then AL E vs NL C, then lastly AL W vs NL W

So I think the math works out as follows.

Every team plays 18 games against everyone in its own division: 72 games
Every team plays 6 games against everyone else in its league: 60 games
Every team plays 6 games against every team in a division in the other league: 30 game

Total = 162

If I give every team Thursday off. I need 27 weeks of 3 game series twice a week. Plus a half week for the all-star game

That comes out to 54 different sets or blocks of matchups. To complete the season in the 27 weeks.

Every team has 10 interleague series. That comes out to I have 150 Series I need to schedule in that 27 weeks or 54 blocks.

I need a interleague game going at all times due to the MLB set up.

To get the interleague series to fit into this I figure that I need to have

6 blocks where there are nothing but interleague series. That takes care of 90 series.

6 blocks where there are 3 IL Series going. That takes care of 18 series.

42 blocks where there is just IL Series going. That takes care of 42.

42+18+90=150

I think my math is right. But for the life of me I can't figure out how to actually lay it out. Anyone able to give me a hand? I want to get back into this game so bad. But I am so OCD about it as I think we all are if this is the type of game that attracts us. Thanks in advance guys.

It already exists, and you requested it yourself.

It's a 26-week schedule, not 27, but should be close enough.

I tried using those in game and they did not load right. Did they load for you?

Here are the 3 Schedules you have requested.

Season start on a Friday (March 29 or later) end on a Sunday in early to mid October (that is a rather long season!)

Because there are Inter League at all time, and because I had to be very creative to mix and match the series so they all aligned, there might be case when a team from the East plays only one series in the West and come back home for another series.

But, overall, they are working.

# 30 team schedule, 162 games
# Designed for the following configuration:
# 2 subleagues, each with 3 divisions,
# subleague divisions with 5 teams
#
# Subleagues
# 5-team divisions
# 18 games against other 4 teams in division (3-3-3H/3-3-3A)
# 6 games against other 10 teams in league (3H/3A)
# 6 games against 5 teams of 1 division in other league (3H/3A)
#
#
# No cases of more than 6 straight days without offday
#
# No homestands or roadtrips longer than 9 games
#
# Game times set at 7:05pm 1:05pm 4:05pm
#
# Season begins last Friday on or after March 29
# Season thus ends early October
#
# All-Star Game set for Tuesday of 16th week of season (early/mid-July)
