New to OOTP, seems like great community

Been playing around with '16 for about a week now and reading some of the boards stuff. Looks like a great community and can't wait to learn and become engaged.

Wanted to give a huge thanks to everyone who posts; from answers to questions to those who upload logos and jerseys. I was overwhelmed to start but quickly figured things out with many thanks to the informative posts.

My first league is a historical league with the best single year from each franchise city, including those who have moved. So it is a 38 team league with all 30 current franchises and also the best years of the Boston Braves, Brooklyn era Dodgers, New York era Giants, etc. Will post updates when it is complete. Also plan on doing an all-time franchise best league to have the best players from each franchise all compiled into one team.

I can't wait to dive into the online leagues as well. Thanks again to all who post.

Welcome! Like most such communities, there's a lot of fantastic people here, and of course a few curmudgeons will make you want to tear your hair out.

After many years here, I am still astounded at the sheer variety of ways in which people enjoy this game. We sometimes joke about how crazy it is that Markus makes every single thing configurable. Yet that seems to be what his customers keep paying for.
