Baseball Card Feature - Page 2

I'll see what I can do about getting some screenshots out. Frankly, we're getting to a point here where most of my time is being consumed with prerelease and manual stuff. I'm partially afraid that releasing pics will raise a long thread with a million questions I don't have time to answer right now!

Part of the reason you haven't seen much about this is because the baseball cards are an "Andreas" feature (not Markus), and Andreas is also responsible for the installers. Well, we got Games for Windows certification this year, and it required a ridiculous amount of installer work to get that working, far more than anticipated (thanks, Microsoft!), so the baseball cards were one of the very last features to be worked on.

Is this reason to be concerned? I don't know why this feature means so much to me but I want it to be good and not just hastily thrown in.

Just post them here, only the ones following this will care, and questions won't be so bad

In this community, there is no feature that has ever been released that won't have room for improvement.

I will be a stickler and point out that I did NOT announce those features as "new features" in that recent RTR! In fact, I specifically announced them as things that have been around, but we felt like many people didn't know about.

I agree, some ppl seem to think that you guys worked on those features this version. I guess reading is something new to them.

But I will say the RTR title you had was a little misleading. When I read the title at first I was expecting to see 3 new features that were going to be new to OOTP 11. But guess what I read the article and found out the true intention of the title.
