Ukraine HEL logos

Team and league logos for the Ukrainian HEL (Hockey Extra League). Formed this season (2015/2016) as the top tier Ukrainian ice hockey league. It takes over as the Championship of Ukraine (from the Ukrainian Hockey Federation) and is also a successor to the short-lived Professional Hockey League (2011/2012 to 2012/2013).

Eight clubs take part in the 24th installment of the Championship of Ukraine.

Edit 11/30/2015 - The file names of the eight active teams and league should now match the in game names. New file version uploaded.

so those are not the actual teams in the ukrainian top tier (amount of teams and actual names) ?

Only three of those teams still survive. One playing in a new town, another changed its name, third played in the KHL for a bit, but left. Those are still from FHM2014 if I recall correctly.

The Ukrainian top league is starting anew this year and taking over the Championship of Ukraine. The last time the Ukrainian Hockey Federation gave the Championship to a separate league was 2011/12, 2012/13 when the short lived Professional Hockey League operated. Most of the teams in FHM2 now are from that era. When a top tier league is not operating, the Federation runs the Championship itself.

I will fix the names of the logos if/when the database gets updated to the current season. There has been quite an turnover in Ukrainian hockey over the last few years. Otherwise, until then, it is best not to add these to any logo packs.

Logos now updated to match team and league names in game.

The defunct/hiatus teams still in the game do not have a logo in this pack.
