Need a Logo

I am making my own universe. I am creating the NAHL, North American Hockey League.

It will feature 2 conferences 24 teams.

1 conference will be the American, the other Canadian. Both with East and West Divisions.

The teams will be made up of 12 American NHL teams and 12 Canadian NHL teams. I will need to promote some of the Jr. league teams.

It's not entirely clear from the main message what you are looking for.. A logo for your league, I presume?

Some guidelines on what specifically you are looking for design wise might help too.

Specifics, I am pretty open. If I can really press, something that has both the Canadian and US flags/colors in it would be wonderful.

Design wise, I leave it up to you all. You are much more talented than I.
