Arthur Vahrenhorst (brother of Harry)

I was looking through the Spalding Official St. Louis Baseball Book from 1910, and I came across a picture of the 1909 Maplewood club from the St. Louis Trolley League. One of the players in the photo was Vahrenhorst, and I was hoping it was Harry Vahrenhorst, who played in one game with the Browns in 1904 and was active in St. Louis semipro leagues after that (and before that). But digging through the St. Louis newspapers of the time, it turns out it was Arthur Vahrenhorst, who was Harry's brother. Arthur played a few years of minor league ball, but is not in Baseball-Reference. But here he is with the 1909 Maplewood club.

Winston Mills "Bo" Baughman was a shortstop. The photo below shows him (#34) with the Tuscaloosa, Alabama, American Legion team. It's from the Columbia (SC) Record of Aug. 29, 1967.

His Sporting News contract card is at:

Charles Williams

Charles Williams was drafted in 1969 by the Pilots played in Newark Co-Pilots in 1969 & Clinton Pilots in 1970. Looks like he is in a Pilots home jersey

The photo shows a scout putting a NY Mets cap onto Wall's head at his signing with the Mets. The photo is from the Sacramento Bee of January 11, 1966.

It takes some mind-reading to figure out which Victor Lopez you are seeking, since there was more than one playing in pro ball at the same time. My guess is that this is the guy. The photo is from the Newark (NY) Courier-Gazette of June 19, 1969. The local newspaper called him Vic.

I found him! Apparently his name is George "Fatty" Hackett
