This guy's team is so good after 4 seasons
I was looking through my silver league and this manager only has played four PT season and has this team (see photo). His starters are all perfect 100 except for one that is 99 lol. He has all diamond or better players as well. Needless to say he went 135-27 in Silver league this season. He either got really lucky or bought a second account and transferred all of his cards over? Just seems crazy to me!

Transferring cards is not possible. And you can believe in luck but I choose not do. You can however do that team yourself in three easy steps:
1. Create new team 2. Pull out that old credit card and buy roughly $2,000 worth of PP. 3. Buy all the players your heart desires from the auction house.

I mean, the game only has about 2 months left in it so I reckon they are probably safe from that

Actually it has about 14 months, not 2. PT19 has about 2 left.

Yeah but very few people actively play once the new one is released.
This team seems like a questionable investment so late in the game, but it's way less than $2K and if that's what the guy wants to do then go for it. It is mostly cheaper lower tier perfects/diamonds that have crashed in value with historical packs flooding the market. Not sure what versions the hitters are but dont think any are over 50K at a quick look |

Yeah I pulled that one out of where there's no sunshine, but the basic recipe for this sort of success is true nonetheless.

I'm glad there are still some people who buy points this late into the game. The team deserves to make some money off of the mode.

If he bought when the pts were on sale, could have gotten a million+ PP with less than $400...that might have been enough to put together that roster...its far from 2k...

FWIW, that's a wild card caliber team in Perfect. Maybe a division winner some weeks.

Let's say he/she scored a perfect Cy Young that was sold for 500,000, which yielded 450,000.
Based on what I've recently seen in the AH: 95K Koufax 65K Perry 45K Welch 90K Mathewson 55K Brecheen 350K Total Rotation 40K Sasaki 20K Marichal 10K Walker 11K Montefusco 8K Pierce 10K (someone else who's hidden on this screen shot) 99K Bullpen 449K Total And that's if he/she did a complete replace of all pitchers on the staff, which means additional PP were gained from selling those 11 or 12 pitchers, which could have then been used to upgrade the lineup. |

i agree.
My FTP "Live Only' team pulled a Schilling which allowed me, within just a few years(weeks), collect all the live cards. I know that isn't a direct comparison but it can snowball quickly with a few great pulls and subsequent AH success.
