Minor leagues only playing 4 games a year.
Why? I started a historical season in 78 and picked A AA & AAA and didn't mess with anything else.
Help please. |

You will have to go and adjust the schedule but you wont be able to do that until the end of the season. Off season I guess, I think it is July 1st. I haven't had to do that in a while so I am not sure on the date

did you change the structure to any of those leagues? that's typically the cause.
there's a button or warning on that settings page "if you change things, you must regenerate the schedule" type message. if you change the schedule settings, it's also a good idea to regenerate the sched immediately, too. when you get somethign you like, it's a good idea to export it. you can keep it somewhere off to the side as a backup. odd things happen, like miss-clicks, too. you may have caused some sort of change and not known of it happening. how doesn't matter now, but you probably can't easily fix this in-season. you may need to go to 1/2 the teams and set up some series of games to be played. make it quick and easy and schedul 132g vs one team, lol. it's only 1 year and only MiL so it's 100% irrelevant who they play as long as they play. the moment you get to preseason or ST (whichever allows...), make sure to regenerate that schedule for any league with this problem. export, just in case... double check the next season that the schedule is fine... if not, import from that file... should fix from then on, if not already. for sanity sake, triple check that third year out and make sure... if it goes through teh yearly cycle and generates properly, you are good for the future. Two rules based on things I learned the hard way:
1) Don't mess with stuff unless you really want to make a change. When I had the problem the OP here is having I had started a fictional league and thought, "geez, why 162 games? My fictional world would evolve differently. Let's run some random numbers for season length." No. Do not do this. If 162 doesn't bother you, leave it at 162. 2) Run a thorough check of how your universe is functioning in the first few days of your save game, before you get far enough along to feel bad about starting over. |
