Question on New Way of Setting Up Historical Teams

I've asked this question elsewhere but I never seem to get an answer. With this new way of setting up a league of historical teams through the fictional league menu, are these teams normalized? Or will deadball era teams play not get any homers while 1920s/30s teams will knock the ball out like crazy? I also wonder if they are normalized, which year are they normalized to?

As far as I can tell it sems to use real stats and not neutralized stats. I only checked one time but imported a historical free agent who was already in the league and the real stats import had the same ratings while the neutralized stats import had ratings that differed. I wish the option was given to choose either or.

If that's true then thats unfortunate. What I have found is that if I don't normalize, the teams from the late 20s and 30s often seem to have an advantage. I hope that Marcus adds a normalization option. It would really be cool if we could choose which year to normalize to, but any normalization would be better than the way it is now.

I have found out from fooling around with it that not only are the seasons normalized, but you can choose which season you want to normalize too, which is cool. Just for fun I whipped up a season that included the 1927 Yankees that was normalized to 1910 during the deadball era. Ruth ended up with only 7 home runs! I would say it worked.
