Importing Historical Players
I've tried several times to create a notepad txt file to import players, but I keep getting an error that says the import has failed. It's in Notepad, and I only have 1 name in it as I don't want to do a bunch of work until I know it works. It's simply aaronha01, 1959
so name comma space and year What am I doing wrong? |

I don't know the answer. But have you tried leaving no space before the year?

I've tried to even just import 1 player using the Import Player, in another thread it says you need to select the Master.csv file I still can't figure it out. I must be doing something wrong, wish I knew what it is.

Hank Aaron imports something like this.
aaronha01,1952 Change the year to the year you want it. This year corresponds to the first year for Aaron in the Spritze database. |

Thanks for your help guys, finally got it to work. Somehow I got it to read from the Master and then I took out the space and the players imported.

When I use the master files they import every player. I can't import one player. There is no option to do so.

Once you direct the game to the Master.csv file, you need to type in the Player ID (and the year) for the player you intend to import.

Saw this in another thread: choose the correct database to import from (default would be historical_database.odb) Warren Last edited by Tresclub; 05-17-2014 at 05:22 PM. Reason: Added a line |
