Request stats changes to roster?
Is there any way that we can argue for certain players to have better ratings? And is there a guideline number rating (0-20 scale) for each stat? For example: 17 contact ~ .300
Because I think Cano is under rated in about every aspect of him And although I'm not the biggest A-Rod fan I still think he deserves a higher contact rating than the 11 I believe he has. I have others but thougt I'd ask before going into more details and use comparisons/stats to plead my cases. |

I will make sure to let our researchers know about possible tweaks but keep in mind:
- The present roster set is a few weeks old as we had to submit to Apple early and the review process takes up a lot of time. - We will submit a update with actual Opening Day rosters early next week. - Ratings will always be controversial. Thats the reason we will integrating a player editor later so you can change ratings as YOU think they are right. But feel free to post your thoughts ...

oh sweet, finally a player editor!
I just think Cano should be better then what he is rated mostly. He is pretty much, without a doubt, the best 2B in the MLB by a long shot. He is a near lock for .300+ 30 HR 100 RBI 40+ doubles with 2 gold gloves. 15 contact is ok, but shouldn't he have more towards 17 (again that's why I asked for ratings to supposed statistics list). 12 power - Pedroia has 11 power and averages 17 HR/162 games with pretty consistent power his whole career. Cano averaged about 30 the past 3 seasons and 24HR/162 games his whole career. Thats worth more than +1 power. Zobrist has 12 power (last 3 years 10, 20, 20 HR). Kinsler has 12 power with hitting 30 HR twice out of 4 years with the other 2 years not even being close. Cano should have ~15 power. 4 running speed - ok he isn't blazing fast but he is at least above average speed, or even average at worst. He just isn't a good base stealer. 10 infield range - Range factor/9 5.02 for career compared to league average's 4.85... Pedroia's Range Factor/9 is 4.68 yet he has 19 range in this game?? 11 turn double play - he is one of the slickest double play turner's in the league. Not sure how to back this up other than watching the games and from word of mouth. |

Why is Adam Jones rated so low? 13 Contact, 13 power? Only 2.5 stars! He hit .287 with 32 hrs and is still improving. This dosen't make sense. Will it be changed? Also, Chris Davis established himself as an above average hitter, 33 hrs with .270 avg yet is only 1.5 stars with a 10/14 contact/power. The Baltimore starting rotation ratings are terrible compared with their stats from last year, and Jim Johnson, arguably the best reliever in the majors last year, is only 2.5 stars! I would love to have these improved. When will the editor be available?
BTW, AWESOME GAME!! I'm still addicted! |

bahh, most of the rating problems I have are just elite player's at each position not having elite ratings! Some examples of ppl I feel are underrated:
Verlander 16/14/13 (yet Greinke is 16/15/16??) Price 15/14/12 (Lester is 15/14/14 what??) Weaver 15/13/14 Cain 13/14/13 Kimbrel 20/16/9 (14 BB and 27 hits in 63 IP last year, come on) Chapman 20/14/11 (23 BB and 35 hits in 72 IP, yet better control than Kimbrel?) Honestly a lot of great relievers have not so great movement and control and it makes them very unlikely to have low 2 ERAs when they should have that every year. I just see very little consistency to how control numbers are given. Nathan 13 BB in 64 IP yet 13 control, Kimbrel nearly identical and has 9. I understand it has to do with like the past 3 years but young studs such as Kimbrel shouldnt be punished when they are only getting closer to their prime. The Orioles are terrible in this game! With their current roster I can't win 70 games! Adam Jones and Chris Davis only hit .220-.230 every year with maybe 15 home runs, and all of the starters have ERAs over 5.00. This was a 93 win team last year and has all of the pieces back. Will this be improved when the Opening Day roster comes out. It needs more than just a minor tweak on this team.
