This isn't actually the 25th anniversary edition, it's just the 25th edition of OOTP. Next year's OOTP26 will be the 25th anniversary edition.

Ahh, I see. The numbers were screwed up in the mid-2000s, with OOTP 6 followed by 6.5, then Baseball Manager 2006 and 2007, then finally OOTP 8 in December (!) 2007 and OOTP9 the following June. (They should've re-numbered so that the edition matched the year, but I digress.)

Pre-ordered as usual. Looking forward to new options. Regardless of all my "moaning" in the PT arena, these guys deserve to be rewarded for their continuous improvements to the game and putting up with us, LOL.
