All-Star Mode?

Hey fellas,

Before I dig around through the umpteen million options this fantastic game offers, I thought I'd ask a quick question. Is there a built-in "All-Star" mode that would allow me to play games using strategies similar to All-Star games (frequent pitching changes, pinch hitters, defensive replacements, etc.) or do I have to tweak the settings manually?

Thanks!
Mike

When you manage your games, you can use any strategy that you like.

If you don't want manage each game out individually, you can also still control line-ups, rotation, etc.

There are no "Modes" to OOTP. You can make your leagues as complex or simple as you like. OOTP covers all the bases.

Understood. I guess I was hoping to be able to import settings much like you can for each individual season. For example, I'm testing out 1916 with settings tweaked to account for more substitutions and pitching changes, and so far it hasn't given me the results I'd hoped for. I'll keep playing around with it, though. Worst case scenario is that I'll be forced to make line-up changes manually rather than have OOTP auto-sim everything.

Set pitching stamina to Very Low player fatigue to Very Low. Pinch hit for Pitchers/Position players to very often. League setup - strategy

Is your league set to 1916 in league setup - I mean using 1916 settings, etc?

As the game said, you can tweak these individually if you wish. Fine tune or wide swings. In general I've found OOTP to be fairly accurate when the settings are correct.

Wouldn't you want Player Fatigue set to High?

Nothing is set up yet. I'm just experimenting and testing some things out. A friend has a project in mind and he hasn't quite filled me in on all the details yet. Thanks for all the suggestions, though. I'll try them out and see how it goes.
