Historical Mode Schedule Jump
Hello, Jeff. Loving the new game. Thanks for all your hard work.
I have a question about something I may be causing myself. Just to try out the new Historical Mode, I began a 1933-34 replay managing no clubs and trying to view each game in full play mode. However, when the first day of the schedule was complete (three games), I hit continue and FHM4 went into autosim mode for the next few days until I hit ESC. What am I doing wrong? I don't want any games simmed. How can I return it (as it was in FHM3) to the mode where hitting CONTINUE just moves the calendar to the next day, without any games being played? jc |

Just a quick follow up. I went back into the game to see if I could figure this out and now I see there are no "view game" buttons on any of the scheduled games. (I do have the view games button checked in my manager profile.)
Thanks! |

It shouldn't be skipping games - did you happen to have Do Not Disturb turned on? Generally, the multiple-day advance can be turned off in Game Settings (in the Game menu) by checking the "Always sim day-by-day" box, but even with that unchecked it should be stopping for games.

Another follow-up: if I exit FHM4 and then Continue Game, the View buttons are back on the schedule screen. But after I play-out a full day in full play, and then hit CONTINUE, the game starts to autosim.
What good is Historical Mode if you can't choose what games to watch? Help! |

Press the GAME tab - setup/options - other options - always sim day-by-day
Also he's not managing a team soo it skips if it autosims multiple days |

Ah, I missed that he was playing unemployed. Yeah, it'll skip over games in that case, sim day-to-day on is the only way to prevent that.

Thank you, Jeff. Unchecking "Do Not Disturb" and checking "Sim Day-to-Day" did the trick.
Just one Game Options request: I usually have everything unchecked except for Show Puck Location, but each game returns the checks to Game Stoppages and Break Goals. Any chance of the Options staying where they were from the previous game? BTW, I started with 1933-34 because I am totally clueless about pre-WW2 North American hockey and I figured it'd be a good way to learn FHM4, but I gotta tell ya' the results (about 20 games per team, due to my autosim mistakes) are right on the money. I think I'll go with it! Thanks again for a tremendous product. |

Yeah, I want to get saved game options on the to-do list, that's kind of annoying having to re-set it all the time.
