We are in the middle of the 2021 season. Here are our current openings

TAMPA BAY RAYS (40-41)
The Good: Seth Harrison, one of the top young hitters in baseball - put up 6.2 WAR in 2020. You get to build this team from the ground up.

The Bad: #25 Budget, #28 Farm System, Play in same division as Yankees and Red Sox, worst SP ERA in the AL.

SAN DIEGO PADRES (48-36; Leading NL Wild Card)
The Good: This team is poised to win this year. The Padres have been in playoff contention for the past couple years but either due to down years or injuries, have come up just shy. A variety of young stud players including Carlos Correa and Wil Myers.

The Bad: The NL West is arguably the most competitive division in the CLB. Three playoff teams coming out of this division is an annual reality. As GM of the Padres, you will have to deal with the 20th ranked Farm System and 20th ranked budget.

MINNESOTA TWINS (35-47)
The Good: The AL Central is up for grabs each year it seems, with a new team winning the division and typically another in the WC. Minnesota is no exception - in 2019 they finished just 1 Game shy of a WC spot and made some moves to retool in 2021. Things just have not worked out. But you do have Billy Hamilton and future ace Josh Lowe.

The Bad: #26 Ranked Farm System; #16 Budget

These teams all have unique challenges, some harder than others. We welcome players of all talent levels. Dedicated Chat Room for CLB Chat and lots of friendly assistance from league members! Please join only if you can be an active member.

The Bad: #24 Ranked Farm System; #16 Budget

LOS ANGELES DODGERS (71-65; SITTING IN WC#2 position)
Team Link: Home Page
The Good: #1 Budget in the league , three time CLB WS appearances, Eric Hosmer, Andrew McCutchen, Julio Urias, Kenley Jansen, Yasiel Puig, Joc Pederson, Michael Brantley, Clayton Kershaw, Corey Seager

The Bad: Large number of high value contracts, #26 Ranked Farm System

TORONTO BLUE JAYS (67-68)
Team Link: Home Page
The Good: #9 Budget, #7 Ranked farm system, including #1 prospect in baseball. Josh Donaldson, Troy Tulowitzki, Garrett Richards, David Dahl.

The Bad: Toronto leadership has been inconsistent, saddling team with a couple less than ideal contracts. Again, their inconsistency has allowed Yankees to dominate division.

You'll have to keep your eye on the thread but both teams are currently held by GMs who are quite active.

Only opening now is Minnesota Twins, who really need some TLC.

We are in the middle of the 2022 season. Leage Reports

TAMPA BAY RAYS (27-24)
The Good: Seth Harrison, one of the top young hitters in baseball - averaged 5.2 WAR over last two seasons. Last GM came in for a short time and made a couple moves, putting this team in thick of WC contention right now, and then bailed. #4 in ERA on the season.
The Bad: #24 Budget, #26 Farm System, Play in same division as Yankees.

LOS ANGELES DODGERS (30-22; Holding WC slot)
The Good: Dodgers have a huge budget, #1 in baseball. Still have Kershaw as well as Joc Pederson and Corey Seager.
The Bad: Dodgers have a few bad long term deals on the books. Nothing you can't get through however, having the #1 budget. #22 Farm

PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES (22-28)
The Good: 2020 Cy Young award winner Aaron Nola; JP Crawford is one of the league's best young SS.
The Bad: Phillies have been kind of floating for a few seasons after a previous GM went for broke at the deadline and came away with nothing. You have #17 Farm System; #6 Budget

These teams all have unique challenges, some harder than others. We welcome players of all talent levels. Dedicated Chat Room for CLB Chat and lots of friendly assistance from league members! Please join only if you can be an active member.
