Mickey Rourke vs. Elliot Seymour

Might be too reactional but after viewing this exhibition contest Seymour receives the worst rating I've ever given.

LOL, I saw the pic of Mickey & for 62, he's in great shape!

Years ago I went to a screenwriters seminar 1 weekend & 1 woman working there said Hollywood is just like any business, they prefer to work with nice people. She said Mickey was not a nice person when they shot "Year of the Dragon".

He's in shape, just not boxing shape.

Seymour went in the tank. He only threw the jab, I think doubled it up twice. Went down from a cuffing right to the body first, got up and went down for good from a left that may have landed.

Appreciate Rourke loves boxing but this isn't doing it any good. Egotistical.

No doubt, his ego probably hasn't improved (gotten smaller) with age.

It might go a bit quiet here for a while as I've gone back to the start of my Robinson ratings.

Not a restart just looking at each opponent in more depth.

Sugar Ray Robinson - Great Expectations.

This is the version of Robinson I am using at the beginning of his career at Lightweight.

I will use be using this rating from October 1940 (Joe Echevarria) to July 1941 (Pete Lello).
