Record Book?

I pre ordered as soon as I opened the email. This version looks to be great and with the 3D portion of the game it will draw a lot of new people. But I have to ask, is the record book/encyclopedia going to get a makeover?

The newsletter mentions more records being tracked.

Yes the newsletter says 'Enhanced player history tracking' but this isn't exactly what I'm asking about. I'm talking more in the line of team records like consecutive wins and loses. More things like what you may find on this web site Baseball Records and Baseball Record Books by Baseball Almanac

No, this is not on my planned list yet. But this may make it into the game eventually, maybe even in an OOTP 15 update

It still hurts not having a more complete record book in the game. Not that I don't track a ton of stuff on my own anyway.

But I never understood why we still do not have a yearly leaders list for each stat a la baseball reference.

Homeruns
2013, Chris Davis - 53
2012, Miguel Cabrera - 44
2011, Jose Bautista - 43

etc..

Regardless I'm excited for the addition of more big game performance tracking.

Those are there if you go to the individual year, (league history index -> AL) then you have the final standings, award winners, all stars and leaderboards.

Incorrect.

I mean year by year leaders. Not a single year's top 10.

Progressive leaderboards are what's needed.

i would love to see players total championships won and awards won, all-star selections all with categories with the ability to sort.

And most importantly the ability to filter recordbooks for active players and retired.

Yes, this would be nice, but yearly league leaderboards would be better (if we had to choose only one).
