I would like this a lot.

While I'm sure that what seems like a 'small feature' to me probably doesn't look so small or easy to implement from a developer standpoint -- -- here are a couple things I'd love to see in a future patch:

1. For Set Player Strategy: a "Bench X number of days if used in X consecutive games" feature. This would be a Godsend for not having to micromanage relief pitchers. Might be useful for position players as well. I always have a few high-stamina relievers who just cannot be trusted to pitch consecutive games, and definitely not 3 games straight. But because they're not 'tired,' the AI manager will throw them out there. I constantly have to go in and use the "Bench Player" function to prevent this... it's really tedious.

2. In the 7-Day Lineups screen: add Games Started & Games Played (and IP for pitchers?) to the Statistics info. in the upper left-hand window.

3. A *quick* way to see what a batter has done in his last 5 games. Maybe like in the Player Profile, lower-left hand panel, where for pitchers it tells you how many pitches thrown in the last 5 days (love this info.): for batters, a breakdown of box-score performance for last 5 games, For ex.:

Today: 0-for-5, 2K
Yesterday: 1-for-3, 1BB, 1R, 1RBI
3 Days Ago: 1-for-4, 1K, 1SB
etc. etc.

1. I would like to see the batter BABIP stat in their stats. We already have the pitchers, so why not the batters aswell?

2. I think I must be missing something, but in the commissioner home, I would like an option to check off that when you press the "execute" button to sim, it would import all the GMs exports off of the server that the league uses.

Is it possible to make it so that team color and text color (or even better the little on-field player info box) can be connected to the home/away jerseys color codes? That way those boxes can reflect whatever color we want and change according to the home/away jerseys. I know this is cosmetic but posted in the hopes that it's a quickie.

For example... I like to use gray or white for the team colors and use the main color for the team text. That way on the field the player name boxes will match the home white and the road gray and makes it easier to distinguish the base runners from fielders. (Might be really cool for those who do not play with the player images on in-game.) Anyway, I create two identical logos for each team, one for home and one for away and attach the colors to the logo and switch the logos out based on the home/away match-ups. Attaching the color codes to the jerseys would automate that process and eliminate the need to switch out the logos.

Here's a sample of what it looks like in-game...

I very much agree on both counts.

This would be a fantastic addition.

I would love to see this as a patch update, but I'm no coder so my apologies for thinking something that is extremely hard to code is easy. love the game and truly appreciate all the hard work that you guys put into the game.

I would love to see "rest status" (circled in the 1st picture) added to the pitching depth chart (circled in 2nd picture) for easier viewing?

currently there is the battery icon, which works for a very broad, quick glance but I'm constantly clicking on my pitchers to see what their true rest status is. IMO it would be very, very helpful if the actual true rest status could be viewed on the pitcher depth chart just like the new addition of PC.

Also, could it be added as a feature for custom views like I have in the 2nd picture? Instead of the Info icon's I personally would change it to player rest so to better see who is tired and needs a day off.

Sortable Stats:
- DH position sortable stats in league stat leaders (would be very helpful for online leagues using DH in both leagues manuelling voting for All-Stars, no way to sort DH players currently)
- 1st Half/2nd Half sortable stats
- World Series sortable stats
- All-Star Game sortable stats
- MR's stat for Inherited Runners allowed to score (I think fangraph has a stat for this)
- Career Post Season stats in the History with a Leaderboard
- Games played at DH in Fielding stats (by Marinersfan51)
- walk off hits, lead off HRs, 10+K games (by gehrig38 and responded by Markus!)
- consecutive scoreless innings pitched (by bailey)

New Awards:
- World Series MVP Award
- All-Star Game MVP Award
- Silver Slugger Awards
- Closer of the Year Award
- more custom awards

These I'm not sure if they can be tracked
- Walk-off wins/Last At Bat wins
- Come from behind wins
- Career stats vs a particular team
- Career stats vs a particular Pitcher/Batter
- Career money earned by player(?) (by gentlemanofleisure)

when you open up a coach profile have a "compare" option where we can see how this FA hitting coach compares to all of your hitting coaches in your organization. Maybe even have a ranking

also, when hiring coaches have a better labeling of what job at what level they are being offered at. when you go to the "pending offers" it doesn't tell you where/what level you are offering that job too. If you are offering several guys jobs at same time across multiple minors it gets confusing who is going where.

It could for instance be an option to have "Until End of Inning" interrupted by these events. Also, change "Until RISP" to "Until RISP or HR".
1. So, to be clear. There would only be buttons for Inning, Half Inning, RISP, and Tired. Events like player injured, pitcher change, and 3+ runs would be triggers to break out of the sim for any of those options. Is that correct?

I'm with you on RISP. It should really be "Until RISP or run scored"?

2. Please make it so that when you bookmark the scores screen, the bookmark always brings you to the CURRENT DAY. I can't imagine anyone would want to bookmark one particular day in the past. Similarly for mail. Please have the bookmark jump to the latest unread mail. You could just keep hitting F5 (or whatever) to get through your mail.

3. I'd like to see a wording change on the pop-up that prevents you from demoting an injured player to the minors. Instead of "The player is injured, put him on the DL instead!", how about "Injured players can't be demoted by rule, only put on the DL."? It's more clear to the user that it isn't a suggestion on how to manage your team, it's a rule.

All the above stuff is great.

One thing I would like if even possible is more control over when feeder league players are created.

I would like the option to not have them created until the next college season instead of being created when players are released to the draft.

Also possibly more control over feeder reserve rosters because usually they end up ballooning your feeder org rosters up tp 30 to 35 players and these players end up in your draft pool too.

I understand the need for reserves but if we could have more control over how many there are. Perhaps in feeders instead of FA, players could be just added or cut from the roster. If cut they are just deleted instead of being free agents.

Yes, that sounds about right - make it optional for those who like the old way, either with a setting in the game options or a "checkmark box" next to the "pause after every play" option.

Then I would just click the "Until Tired" button all the time and make my substitutions when needed, leaving everything else to the AI.

Some control over the generated free agents would be nice. Maybe an option to whether create them or not, or how many we'd like.

and pleeeease have spot starter take start if he is the most rested if 'always start highest rested' option is selected while allowing him to be used by the AI out of the bullpen, as the AI sees fit

Ts-rock beat me to it but I would love to see games at DH and PH in the fielding stats page. Also having more awards would be great, even if it was just more custom award slots.
