Blue Jays minor league C Craig Biggio will retire after the season.
Winston-Salem SP Pat Lyons pitched a 7 h 3 k 3 bb CG SH.
Seals SP Dave Meyers pitched a 3 h 3 k bb CG SH.

St. Louis sign SP Lewis Montieth to a 5 yr extension.

Chris Riley & Julio Calderon are both elite hitters a well. While Guillermo Macias is the ace of the Monarchs, many feel that Leland James might be better,
