The Most Interesting Game I've Played
I decided to play with the 1981 Detroit Tigers and in a midseason June game against the Texas Rangers, the Tigers were no-hit over 13 innings. The Rangers finally scored in the bottom of the 13th when the Rangers' Nick Capra walked with the bases loaded against Tigers' reliever Kevin Saucier.
The 1-0 Rangers victory was marked by other interesting occurrences. Rangers' starter Charlie Hough carried the no-hitter into the tenth inning before being replaced by Danny Darwin who threw two no hit innings of his own. Steve Comer finished the combined no-hitter with an inning and a third.
Meanwhile, tough loss for Tigers' starter Jack Morris who scattered six hits over twelve innings. As a matter of fact, Morris was so efficient that he did not hit 100 pitches until the eleventh.
I've played a few no hit games over the years, but this is definitely the most interesting one that I have experienced.
