How to Play a Fictional Real World Set-Up

Hi all, in OOTP I always play with fictional players and fictional history in a real-world universe (ie. real MLB teams but with an inaugural draft and fictional players). Can someone please explain to me how to customize FHM 2 this way? I want to have real NHL teams but fake players. Thank you! Can't wait to test this game out!

Start a custom league but change the teams to NHL teams. All the players would be fictional anyways. Just go through the process until the game is ready too play.

Yes, that is a potential solution; however I guess I had just assumed coming in that it would be possible to simply select a real-world set up in a fictional game in FHM2 like in OOTP. Another idea I guess would be to delete history, players, and coaches from the real world start. Is this possible? If so, how do I do it?

No it is not currently possible. Orioles suggestion would be closest to it.

Could this fictional setup be added to a list of future updates please? I'm disappointed it's not currently available in game but understand the franchise is a work in progress. Still, this features absence hinders the game's playability for me. Hope this doesn't come across as harsh, it's just personal preference and the game is definitely an accomplishment.
