Weird problem with amateur draft setup.

I started a league as the 1961 Washington Senators, and up until 1973, I could participate in the amateur draft. But after that point, not only can I no longer participate, I can't even check the box TO participate!

OOTP seemed to develop a bunch of issues after I kept the Senators in Washington instead of moving them to Texas. I finally cried uncle and moved them to Texas for the 1974 season. Kinda sucks, because I had a dynasty going...five championships & 9 playoff appearances in 10 years...and the other year, I only missed the playoffs by one game!

In 1973, it made me participate in an expansion draft. Even though I just didn't move the Sens, and no new teams appeared. Same thing happened in 1974...even though I set the expansion draft to "off"! The old Sens team still existed, but only if you used the search feature...which I used to get back all my old championship caliber players and get rid of all the expansion draft scrubs.

Anyway, I still can't figure out what happened. Did I screw up the league's historical integrity by not moving the Senators? Any way I can get around it? I at least want to be able to do the amateur draft. I'm hoping by becoming the Rangers, it'll at least stop the annual expansion draft crap.

Anybody know what happened, and how I can set the draft again, at least?
