Steelport, who missed out on bronze OL competition, has decided they won't need to go through bronze OL at all, because they're going up to silver. Let's not forget about them

What's the procedure for OL playoff matchups? Just post final results tonight for career stats?

Since the Texas Strangers, manager Billy Martin, made it to Diamond I will drop them from OL for awhile also and let them try tp percolate some PP in open Diamond.

That's it. The crown is awarded for regular season, and I just add in the the PT playoff stuff later on. Sometimes I have to wait for the playoff results to get posted by OOTP, but that's not a big deal. The regular season stats are gone forever, once the sims are done.

3 of the 4 teams in the ALCS and NLCS were lefty-heavy teams (none of which were the Southpaws, surprisingly). The other? My lefty killer Cottons, who are trying (and sincerely hoping) that the meta has more depth to it than all-in lefty teams. It will be a pitching duel, as both teams led their respective leagues in runs against (608 for Victoria, 576 for Bold Strategy). The Cottons have the advantage in record and therefore get the extra home game, significant as both teams play ~.670 at home and ~.500 on the road.

Texas only had one OL series in September, leaving the door open for teams with a few games.

Ozark won 6 of their 7 OL series in August and September to keep pace. Finishing 5-2 after Texas's last OL game.

Steelport failed to bring home a bronze title to OL, as they were swept in 4 straight by a whale in their bronze-level series.

Blitzkrieg have gone from 2-0 up to tied 2-2 despite having their best pitchers on the mound in games 3 and 4. Looks like RNGjesus is trying to finish the job it started today by having all my playoff teams bite the dust in a sea of disappointment and quiet anger.

Congrats to the Bold Strategy Cottons for taking the Perfect Series. It was a nailbiter, with all but one game being low-scoring affairs with 1 or 2 run differences.

The Vikings were done in by the pitching of Kershaw, who went 0-4 in the playoffs... proving that OOTP is indeed the best baseball sim around.
