Player controls pitching, manager controls lineup

Particularly when I don't feel like playing out games, I tend to let the AI manager control lineups and pitching and whatnot. This is because whenever I have a position player get injured or swap someone new in, I hate having to adjust my lineup and depth chart, and then switch it back when someone comes back from the DL. I'm generally fine letting the manager do that.

But I often disagree very strongly with how the manager sets up my bullpen and starting rotation. Guys who I want to be relievers end up in the rotation, and vice versa. Particularly, guys who I want to be lefty specialists end up just being middle relievers (even though last year his FIP overall was above 5, but against lefties it was 1.5!).

I'd like an option to give the manager control over only the lineup, and let me set everything relating to pitching.

Please please please this. Especially with regards to the minor leagues.

At the bottom of the lineups screen under Actions? you can have the AI set the lineup the way he sees fit when you are in control of lineups and rotation under the GM Menu- Options Then you set the rotation youself.
I did this with the 2018 White Sox
Matt Merullo the MGr controlled the lineups since I did not see anything i did not like. I set the rotation since the Ai kept wanting to put 3 LHP in the pen.
Next season I will have a legendary PC he will control the rotation I get the offense. When injuries happen I just have to ask him or MGR.
That all being said more options are always welcome.
Would prefer that ask Pitching Coach is an option vs MGR or BC.
