The President
Very minor thing:
I noticed that in the news story about the World Champions visiting the White House, the President is always assumed to be male. Perhaps after a certain date, there could be a chance that the President would be female? |

Why can't we write the President as gender-neutral instead? Just call them the President.
And don't forget, team nationality needs to be taken into account - the Blue Jays and former Expos are the obvious examples, but every nation in the game needs a variant of this story. |

That's already the case, in the sense that the team has to be from the US to get this storyline. There aren't versions for any other country though. They would be easy enough to write I assume.

About making the president gender-neutral, there isn't really a great way to do that without awkward writing. It's incorrect to use "they" as a singular gender-neutral pronoun, and it would be very weird to write "he or she" in a news article about the president. The awkward way around it would be to replace all pronouns in the article with "the president".
Also, I wonder, did the Blue Jays visit the White House when they won in '92? |

As a Phillies fan, thank you for not mentioning '93 as well. Per the suggestion, you could remove all masculine singular pronouns, and replace them with "the president". But, occasionally, switch out "the President" with "the American leader", or something to that effect. |

Uh oh, don't let women's rights activists groups see this. They'll sue OOTP and shut down our entire operation...
But seriously...lol. I read any article a few months back that said some women's group demanded that manholes be renamed to people holes.

You can WRITE/EDIT the news story to reflect female pronouns and name of President
I finally fixed an issue!

There will be a female president, it is just a matter of when.
Remember that you don't have to go very far back to see people thinking that a black president was far-fetched. Things are changing for the better. It is slow, but it is happening.
