Play version 1 to get feel for FHM2?
Hi All,
So I picked up FHM awhile back in a Steam bundle, but I didn't play it because I'd heard so many issues. With the second version on its way, and on sale, I'm considering playing around with it to see if I might want to add a hockey sim to my life, as if I don't play enough OOTP. Is it worth playing FHM to see if I might like managing a hockey team? Or is the game going to be so much different as to not matter? Side note: I *am* a hockey fan, so game itself is not new to me. Just simulating it. Haven't ever played a hockey sim, haven't played a hockey video game since like Madden's NHL 2002? maybe 2003?

You might want to wait until the the patch for FHM14 to see what the new match engine will be like, but FHM 2 looks to be pretty different from FHM14 in almost every regard and playing it might not really prepare you overall for the new edition.
If you can wait until the 28th, that might be your best bet. |

It is up to you but to be honest, FHM 2 has almost nothing in common with FHM 2014 (with or without the patch) anymore, we teared it down and rebuild it from the ground.
