Brady leaving the Patriots

Interesting, though not all that surprising... So...

1. Where does he go?
2. Who replaces him in N.E.?
3. Where do all of the other QB dominoes fall?

In this weird, game-less sports environment, this NFL offseason's QB shuffle just might get interesting...

I think NE said goodbye to him 1st.

Doesn't matter where he goes to me as long as it isn't the Panthers. I;d rather lose to him than win with him. Yes, I am a hater and I own it.

Oh man, now I can start disliking the Patriots. I'm the opposite of Cobra, a huge Brady fanboy.

Yeah, him being a Michigan Wolverine, I've loved following his career.

Yes, If nothing else he was a class act. Even gave up money to win. I was not a Pats fan but I respected a player that put team first.

It's going to be weird seeing Brady, Rivers, Mariota, & Newton in different uniforms this year.

I never liked or disliked the Patriots. I'm a Cowboys fan. I hold no ill will towards Brady and wish him the best. I have no reason to dislike him. But I have no reason to root for him either.

I agree. I just don't think it's going to be weird to see Mariota in a different uniform since he has made zero impact in the NFL. He's a bum and always has been. Who cares what uniform he wears?

I agree on his impact, I meant it will be weird for these 4 because they've only worn one uniform and it's been for a fair bit of time. Seeing their face in a different uniform is going to make me do a 2nd take once or twice I imagine

As a Raider fan, I can only hope Gruden works some kind of miracle and turns him into a decent backup.

I really agree with this, other then that self TD pass in the Playoffs he was a bust.

So what do you guys think of Brady in Tampa Bay (that's the place I'm hearing he will sign)

I never envisioned Montana in KC or Favre in New York or Minnesota or Manning in Denver, so seeing someone like Brady anywhere other than where he's made a name is odd. That being said, it looks like TB could be a very favorable place for him with a bunch of really good targets.

He still hasn't officially signed with TB yet, correct? I'm seeing lots of article titles that say he's going to TB and even some that say he's signed. But in none of the actual articles does it actually say he's signed. Am I missing something? Has he officially signed yet?

I think they are still working on terms.
NE decided at soon to be 43 he is not worth the cost. TB wants to be relevant but wants to balance how much they want to use of their cap on him.

I think it is going to be an interesting experiment both ways. I have always felt that the success in NE was more Belichik than Brady, especially if you look at how well NE did without Brady when he missed a whole season and then again when he missed the start of a season. 11-5, 3-1, with three different QBs.

I agree so much with this Bill Belichick probably would’ve much rather had A quarterback already learning the system waiting in the wings (Jimmy Garoppolo) but he ended getting another ring. But I do expect him to find some gem somewhere Maybe not next year but I don’t see them missing the playoffs Too many years With Bill in charge.

In my opinion the Raiders got Mariota to be in direct competition for the starting position. Just because I said he's been a bum doesn't mean he always will be. Still young at 26, I think the Raiders might be hoping he replaces Carr. Imo Carr is not on the team in 2021.

If Tampa can put together a good defense this team will be interesting to watch.
