Why isn't this game on Steam, and Steam is a digital distribution platform. For example, I can purchase OOTP18 and other games(Franchise Hockey) on Steam, but not this one.

steam is a little buggy with downloads BUT THIS version was never made available for steam (2.5) they had their own in house distribution at that time and I had a real problem with the license downloads. I dunno if 3 will be on steam but it will be somewhere.

I know it'll be somewhere and I'm aware of their in-house distribution, look at my join date, just prefer everything on Steam, I hope that's the direction they take from here on out on all games.

You can, IIRC, add the game to your Steam library as a non-Steam game. It just won't automatically update.
