Bug Report Salary Cap Budget
The lower Canadian and American leagues have and the Danish league has a salary cap of 20 million, which means that the teams in the league will have a season budget of 20-40 million and will have player contracts of 1-3 million.
When I switched off the salary cap in Denmark and gave the teams a smaller season budget, they still signed players with a 2 million contract, even though it exceeded the season budget. What is the point of earning more money in the lower leagues than in the NHL? That's why less players sign in the AHL. Those, the teams have a season budget of 1 million. |

I think I see the problem, the Metal Ligaen actually has a starting salary cap of $950,000, but if you edit the league rules it gets converted to the minimum editable cap value of $20 million, with the results you're seeing to the contract levels. We'll get that fixed.
