According to OOTP itself, OOTP MLB play (modern and historical) outnumbers OOTP fictional play three to one.

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.

bought it. On the baby pool, my second daughter is due May 22nd. Perhaps there is a correlation between the end of baseball season and the increase birth rate??

jb.. what's been going on?

I played it more than 8, less than 6.5... figured I'd save the $10.. plus, I had a nice tax return and do not mind supporting Markus.

The return on this investment of money, in hours of entertainment and pleasure, is incalculable. Unless there's some radical change for the worse, I will never hesitate to buy the latest version of OOTP, sight unseen.

Agreed there! My sole reason for buying each game.

what he said.
it's so worth it.
it's like the cost of of two pizzas.
except of course lousy cheap pizzas in which case you might get four.
it's less than a tank of gas (unless you have a small tank car or something)
it's the cost of ONE ticket to a Giant's spring training game less $4.99.
whatever.
if you can't commit, you can't commit.
you'll buy it eventually.

How vague was the sales pitch on the most important issues many have had? Way too vague for me to drop down any money yet.

And this is the let-em-slide attitude that prevents the long standing problems from being fixed.
