Season 6
I am going to finish up season 6 this evening. I took a look at some of the league history the other day. It has a pretty detailed league history...I haven't done a fictional league like this with no real goal in mind to this point so I hadn't explored that feature.
Now in season 6, the eight playoff teams are: Philadelphia Grey Sox (71-49) Boston Beanchewers (64-56) Manhattan Jaspers (64-56) Virginia Mountaineers (66-54) -These are the teams from the Eastern League, which has yet to win a NAGBA title in 5 seasons of the league. From the Greater Western League, appropriately named to this point: Colorado Rock (68-52) (Formerly the Colorado Ghouls, I think their new name got them to their first playoff.) Houston Otters (65-55) San Antonio Spurs (64-56) San Diego Music (63-57) The way the playoffs are formatted, they all have a decent chance at winning...In a very simple sense, you might say equal chances of winning as they all have to accomplish the same thing. But the records above might indicate how good the teams really are, and the better records or division winners do have home field advantage. I'll update the final four, championship match-up, & winner in the next 3 posts. Just because. Just for fun, rather.
