Minor League Affiliates

Hi!

I edited the structure to my league (I am using a custom game) and I don't know how to assign minor league affiliates to my teams. How do you do this?

To setup a minor league:

MLB -> League Setting -> League Actions -> Add Minor / Feeder League

Affiliation

Click on the league (like with MLB) -> League Settings -> League & Teams
Here you see all the teams in your league and on the right are their affiliated major league teams

I apologize for bumping a very old thread, but this is the subject I cannot figure out. My menu, doesn't look like that "Add Minor/Feeder League" isn't an option.

I have started a new game, OOTP 22, with Live start with the start date being in November of '21. Is this the issue? Is live start creating the problem?

Don't quote me on that since I play only the historical mode but I think "live start" means the rooster and structure as they were the day you started, so no minor leagues possible but reserve rooster instead.

Are you playing in Challenge Mode?

Challenge Mode differs from the classic OOTP experience in the following ways:

Commissioner mode and the player editor are disabled
League rules and setting adjustments are also disabled
Certain AI team control settings are disabled
Long-term simulation ("Auto-play until...") is only available during the offseason
New in-game achievements can be unlocked while playing games out
Your achievements and season scores will be tracked in your personal OOTP online profile (as long as you're logged in), which will allow you to compare your career and accolades with those of other OOTP players all over the world
