EC Needs a Birthday Gift For a Friend

My good friend, CD, is having a birthday soon.
He has posted a graphics request in his Graphics Collection from CD's Ultra-Fine House of Style thread on this forum.
I can only do average graphics work., still I am going to give him a birthday present... hope several of you talented and gifted graphics folks will do primary and secondary logos for him for the Lubbock Ranchers... maybe do him caps and jerseys, too.

CD has come a very long way here on the Forum... it has been really tough for him at times due to his Asberger's Syndrome (he innocently and unintentionally can offend people... he has problems socializing with people)... once people knew about this, his life on the forums became much better... for about 4 years CD has really tried not to post too much and too often and ask for too much... CD has made great progress... I think even his early critics will acknowledge this.

Almost all of the time CD just posts his requests in his own thread.... He does not want to upset anyone on this forum... I am posting it here on the Mods Forum because more people will see it and just might help him out.
Sadly he rarely get any help in his thread.

Your help would be appreciated very much by CD.
Once you get to know and understand CD, you will have one of the best friends a person would want.

I am going to do my best to make my good friend's birthday a very happy one.

CD, I tried to use your images in your thread, but the white outlines on the rancher image pixelated too badly... so i had to just do a tradiitional logo for you.

You don't have to use it, if you don't like it.

If you are going to use the logos, I will create uniforms and caps, too.

I will use Orange and Black as the team colors.

Let me know if you will use the logos.

Here are the Primary Logo and the Secondary Logo.

I made them to show up well both on the black skin and the white skin, too.

CD wants the colors to be Red, Brown and Tan.

I will rework the Primary and Secondary Logos with the new colors.
I think they will look good together.

CD, This is just about the best I can do.

Use it if you like it... don't use it if you don't like.

That will be no problem for me.

I got the colors from your Rancher images.

I used dark brown, tan and red.

If you are going to use the logos, I will make you home and away jerseys.

I did another version of the logos using pouiy's font.
pouiy also provided a really good font and wordmark for the jerseys and caps.

The team name and nickname doesn't stand out like I would like.... maybe I need to make it dark red.
I think the red borders improved them.

CD wanted Red Letters for the Team Name and Nickname.

I think this primary logo shows up better in the game.

No change in the secondary logo.

Here are the Boston Gunners you requested.
Sorry, all I can do is circular and square style logos.
I use justafan's software.

Primary and Secondary Logos... I got lucky and found a good cannon badge image... these are a little above average for me... I'm pretty pleased with them.
However, the contrast on the Primary Logo could be improved a bit... it's too much red and blue... the white outline helps a lot.

Still hope some of the gifted and talented folks will do them for you.
I will do uniforms, but they don't look good when installed in the latest version OOTP24... they look OK if you don't use the zoom cameras in the 3D animation mode.

Here are home jerseys for the Lubbock Ranchers.

I enlarged the longhorn image.

My jerseys do not work well in the 3D animation when you use close-in zoom cameras.... I still use justafan's software... they are fine otherwise and may actually look better than the new jersey versions.

CD, this should complete the Lubbock Ranchers for you.

IMO, the logo's tan background is not exactly right... it is not clear enough...a little too dark for me... but better than nothing.
Also I couldn't use an outline color for the team name and nickname... they would spike if I added any outline... a lot of fonts do that.

Nope, CD... you and Jeff are the only ones that use a few of my logos and jerseys.
On occasion I have done a few surprising logos, jerseys and caps for my IPA and South Island Leagues.

They are just average at best and nowhere as good as the gifted guys.

Still they are better than nothing and probably better than what OOTP would create as the default logos, jerseys and caps.

Glad you will use them... but I hope one of the gifted guys will do them for you.

Actually, the best colors were the black and orange verision I did first.
IMO tt shows up the best in the game.

We were just basically talking about some needed team-related items for the Lubbock Ranchers here, in truth.
