TRADE
To CARDINALS Dan Ross Rob Ducey Joseph Black To BLUE JAYS Mauro Morin Jesus Chavez John Montgomery Travis Callahan Ryan Cook Morin joins the Jays and will take over as primary catcher, moving Bob Weaver to the backup role. Losing Ross is difficult, but the Jays are very deep in relief pitchers, with a whole AAA bullpen who could be pitching in the majors. Sent to AAA: Jose Correa Called Up: Anthony Peterson

We have made some personnel moves with the big club.
Mark Alexander has signed a two year extension as Bench Coach. He has been with us since 1983 and we like the work he does. Carlos Martinez signed a four year extension as Scouting Director. Like Alexander, he joined the team in '83 and we have no complaints. Terry Warren has signed a four year extension as Team Trainer. Terry has been our trainer as long as there has been a team. It is great to keep him round. No other major league positions are expiring.
