Quick question... I've searched through the thread and noticed a few people having problems with transparency. I have the same problem... I can load a logo but I can't save it with a transparent background. Clearly that works as there are several examples shown. What am I missing?

Thanks.

You have to save it as png.file ... you easily can do that with paint.net

Is there a

Mac version in the future? My Parallels isn't supported by High Sierra.

Yes, I'd like some cheese with this whine!

Hi,

I am looking for some help and hope I've come to the right place.

I am in a fictional league and we are creating our teams from scratch. The idea I have is called the "Northern Winter", either based out of Alaska or Maine. I was thinking of using a snowflake as a logo, and the colors predominantly black and white for the jerseys and caps. I found a logo on James Cephalus pack that I liked but wanted to jazz it up or open it to you creatively talented people on here. I appreciate the help.

I'm trying to place a transparent image in the center of a logo. I made the background transparent in Paint3D (as far as I can tell... I've been reduced to following a WikiHow, but the process ain't complicated!). I've saved the logo as a .PNG file. I can load it into Pickoff. But when Pickoff shows the logo, it appears with a rectangular area around it... so it doesn't appear that the transparency is working as expected.

Is there something trivially dumb I'm doing wrong? Or does anyone have any tips for me to try?

Thanks in advance.

I tried to save a PNG file using Paint 3D and it is not transparent. Don't know if it will even load a transparent file. You have three options. 1) Do it yourself using a free graphics program such as GIMP or Paint.net 2) Try an online converter. Don't know how good these are. 3) Post your image here in a new post and ask for assistance.

https://www.getpaint.net/download.html

google search on convert jpg to png transparent replace jpg with your file type

Paint.net also works well.

And even the computer-challenged, like me, can use it.

I'd say for certain, no. Justafan has been inactive for 3 years now and even before that, he said that there would be no mac version

As a Mac user, I have found these useful:

http://www.ootputilities.com/capmaker/

http://www.ootputilities.com/jerseymaker/

But they don't work real well in Safari, but Firefox works well.

I wonder if there's any possible way to calculate how many hours your work has saved others, and the degree you upgraded everyone's efforts to make usable graphics for their own games.

Thank you. Thank youthankyouthankyou!
