Why Are Stats Dropping?
why is some of my players stats droping after having a successful year prior+ good rating? This has happened to my entire rotation that I kept the same from the year before+ a reliever also. NOTE: I traded away Carlos Reyes because of his lack of production

My guess is their potential dropped.

Just like in real life, a player can start deteriorating much sooner than you expect. It's a good idea to keep an eye on their History page so you can see if a trend is starting. Beyond that, sometimes their defensive abilities quietly go down to 0 as a nasty surprise if you don't watch that page yearly for players, starting in their late twenties.

Their ratings remained the same from the last year to this year and so has their potential. I have noticed a few players deteriorating on my team but most are in their 30's. For the most part my team is young.
