How to *remove* facebook/twitter buttons?
Hi, all.
Decided to wander back and see what's new after being gone for a long time. I noticed the patch mentioned they added facebook and twitter buttons... does anyone happen to know where they're located, please? I don't use social media for personal reasons, and I dislike having them displayed on the screen. I want them GONE. Period. Last edited by RandyTiger; 10-30-2010 at 11:09 AM. |

I was referring to the file locations, not the in-game locations, thank you very much. I've seen them, and perhaps I should have been a tad more precise to avoid any misunderstandings.

Not to treadjack, but can someone explain the purpose of these buttons? I am having a hard time imagining a situation where I would want to publish some information of my ootp universe to my facebook friends and/or twitter followers.
I'm just curious who would use this and what purpose they would use it for.

I've never used either before, but now am totally hooked on tweeting as the GM of my team, and reading other tweets on my phone. Adds to the immersiveness of the league and is a great addition to OOTP. The league is PEBA, and if you go to their main page you should see the Tweetbox on the left, and read what GMs have been tweeting.

Tylertoo, obviously you haven't read posts #1 and #4.
I was asking where the physical location of the buttons are in the files so that I may remove them. I was not asking about what the bloody buttons do - I quite clearly stated I was not interested in facebook/twitter stuff or for what purpose they're there. The guy who threadjacked, lighthousekeeper, asked. Last edited by RandyTiger; 10-30-2010 at 11:10 AM. |
