Turtle Pilgrim 001 Dynasty

This particular dynasty will primarily cover the teams and leagues and players present in the aforementioned dynasty, and go for as long as I can continue it. The 1878 season will be along shortly, but this dynasty started in 1870, and played a season before the usual starting time of most simulations or solo leagues, et cetera, so that historical players would start to appear in the relevant draft pool after the first season.

Eight overall seasons have now been played/simmed in the first league for this dynasty, the American Baseball Federation, henceforth to often be referred to as the ABF. MLB and the NABA, Major League Baseball and the North American Baseball Association, started in 1876, along with the ABF's first minor league, the Columbian Interstate Baseball Association (CIBA). The Tea and Coffee Union just completed its inaugural season. A second minor league will begin play next season under the ABF, and this dynasty report will cover that league and its players and teams periodically as well.

I will get you up to speed on the dynasty as quickly as I can, and as well as I can. There are five leagues in it now, but certainly more leagues will join it as well, in due time, along with their necessary teams, as the need arises and all.

But until then, I will simply list the leagues with their teams, one league at a time, until I'm done doing so here well enough. If you want to know more about any team or league in the dynasty, or players, please don't be afraid to ask as reasonably and as respectfully as possible.

Even if it's only in terms of just listing the current configurations or soon-to-be-current configurations for various teams and/or leagues in this dynasty here.

Three of the four major leagues have now begun their pre-seasons. The Tea and Coffee Union soon will. Both ABF-affiliated minor leagues have not yet begun them, but soon will.

The ABF will now have two minor leagues under it, those being the CIBA and the NPBG, as listed above. The NPBG will be a Double A-level league, while the CIBA will stay as a Triple A-level league for at least the time being.

I have parks downloaded for several of the new minor league teams now. Most of them are probably nielsoncp's parks, if memory serves. Other parks have not yet been discovered, or if they have been mentioned in various threads already, I've not yet been able to download them, if they've already been made by now.

Several big names likely appeared in the most recent draft pools for the ABF and MLB, at least, and while some of my teams probably didn't get at least one or two of the players I was hoping would fall to them, I think some of them had at least decent drafts for themselves. Reports about or related to each major league team should soon follow here. I will go alphabetically by league, and follow the same order for each team, by appropriate subleague/division. So I will be starting with the Eastern League teams for the American Baseball Federation, then doing the Western League teams for the American Baseball Federation. I will cover the teams in the ABF's minor league structure after doing reports on the teams in the Tea and Coffee Union as needed. Expect at least basic reports for most teams, before I really start getting to covering certain events that may happen later on during the 1878 season.

The more extensive reports may be more extensive or detailed for the St. Louis Archers, the St. Louis Cardinals, the Washington Generals, and the Philadelphia Chroniclers, at least for a while. But if so, that simply will be the case because those four teams have human managers assigned to each of them at present.

Will write more later if and when the need or desire arises for me to do so and all. But I have other things to do now, so you might have to wait a bit before I add to this thread again here, of course. CD out.

Here are some screenshots related to the Atlantic City Gamblers. For the most part, they've been a fairly average team so far in the American Baseball Federation. They haven't yet made the playoffs in their eight-year history, but they do hit fairly well. They may be an up-and-coming team, but they still haven't finished higher than third in the Eastern League of the ABF for a season. Time will tell how well they do in the near future. I'm not expecting them to make a serious run at an Eastern League pennant for another year or so, at least, though.
