What is your league strategy setting for "Use of Closer"? I know that when I got the same crash in july the problem was there. If your strategy is "rarely" change it for anything else, I've not get any other pitcher injury crash since than.

Use of Closer is Normal. It was near the end of the game. not sure if it was the last out or not. Only during injury

Also received this error while playing game out. Pitcher injured w/ no one on base, no one out (well he retired the guy he was facing then was injured) in 9th inning. Crashed to Desktop. 9.2.2 Mac Version.

I am getting this crash now too. It happened to me twice now, both times in spring training. My relief pitcher was injured and it crashes to the desktop. It happened once with 9.2.11 and now once with 9.2.13.
Please let me know if you need more information. |

Wow,this sure brings back nightmares. This was a big problem around 7 months ago but it was eradicated when Markus found out it had to do with use of closer on "rarely".Check to see what setting you have on use of closer in the strategy section of game setup.Changing this to any other setting may take this problem away.

Phillie-
I know that in my case, closer usage was set to Very Often (or whatever the highest setting is -- i.e. the default setting -- sorry, at work), so I know it was unrelated to the usage problem. This is obviously a hard one to recreate, which is one of the reasons why this seems to pop up every now and again -- it just isn't frequent enough. As an aside, isn't it strange that this only occurs when playing out games, and not simming them? |

As the original problem was reported on 9.2.2 and the follow-up poster who was experiencing it on 9.2.11 hasn't replied in a couple of months, this thread will be closed for housekeeping purposes. If anyone is able to recreate this issue, we'll reopen this thread.
