I really do think they improved the font view.

As I said several days ago, it may be my imagination but the font view seems more clear and crisp than it did prior to this last patch (13.5.22). Either that, or some combination of font swaps, skin rebuilds, and patch is doing a wonderful job. I'm not touching a thing.

Somebody pointed out that they would not have changed the basic vera font in a patch. Granted. But perhaps there was a way to tweak how it displays?

FWIW, pre-patch I had the OOTP12 vera font installed and I was using the dark skin. Not bad, but in some places the font was too wide to fit the labels. OK, I was living with it.

Then I patched with 13.5.22 and, just for the heck of it, put back the original OOTP13 font (note what I said, in case it's important - I put back the original font, not the one in the current full game installation download - who knows whether this is a factor).

For the love of mike, the text looks very good now! (Knock if off before you start, wise guys - I'm wearing the same glasses as always. )

I don't know if it's what I did, or they tweaked the display somehow, but I'm happy. I'm not going anywhere near the Change Skins option!

Does anybody else have this impression or am I nuts? (Disregard my recent thread and posts when considering this question, please. )

What, again?

Stupid mind. I'd like to hit it but that would mean hurting the shell that it's in. That is, my head.

Seriously, I could swear there is some improvement but from what, I do not know. Sometimes in life good stuff happens and it's best just to accept it, say a bit of thanks to whatever supernatural influence may be involved, and just enjoy it!

Yes, Yanks, some truths are better coddled and left unchallenged.
