Been waiting on ootp 25.
I figured that 1921 would be a good place to convert to the new version.

Converted league to ootp25.
Not sure how to move thread.

Set hof minimum service years to 10 but will lower by 1 year and
rerun vote if no player is selected.

The ballots are counted and the results are in. One player was enshrined this year: Rube Waddell will now see his plaque mounted beside the other greats from the game.

The full voting results are included here. Players require 75% of ballots cast to be elected to the Hall, and stay on the ballot as long as they receive at least 0% of the votes. Players must be retired for 10 years before they are eligible for induction to the Hall of Fame.

World Series Game 1 Goes to New York Thanks to Schang
The New York Yankees started the World Series in style, downing the visiting New York Giants at Polo Grounds by a score of 9-7 to grab an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Yankees catcher Wally Schang was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 and driving in 3.
The game was at a stalemate until pitcher Carl Mays came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing New York pitcher Rosy Ryan, he hit a 0-2 changeup for a 2-run single. It was a game-changer, putting New York on top, 8-6.
"My job is to go out and play as hard as I can for the Yankees," said Mays.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Polo Grounds in New York.

Giants Clip Yankees, 5-4, in WS Contest
New York used the timely hitting of Frankie Frisch to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Giants on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"We're happy," Frisch told reporters after the win. "When you're in the playoffs, you've got to treat every game like it could be your last."
The next game is set to be played for Saturday, October 8th , 1921 at Polo Grounds in New York.

Giants Escape Yankees in 12, Now Lead Series 2-1
When the games really matter, the New York Giants put on their best show, beating the New York Yankees by a final score of 8-7. Ross Youngs was 4 for 5 with 4 singles and a walk. New York now leads New York 2-1 in the best-of-7 affair.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 12th inning, when New York pinch hitter Hank Schreiber, facing Jack Quinn, had a run-scoring single. It gave the Giants the 8-7 win.
"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said New York manager John McGraw.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Polo Grounds in New York.

Ryan Handcuffs Yankees, Giants Seize 3-1 Advantage in WS
The New York Giants got a strong performance from pitcher Rosy Ryan, who stymied the visiting New York Yankees en route to a win, 7-1, in Game 4 of the World Series. The Yankees could never get a bead on the right-handed Ryan, who threw 9.0 innings of 6-hit ball. The Giants now hold a 3-1 in the best-of-7 series.
Ryan delivered a quality start for New York. The 6-foot-0 right-hander allowed 1 earned run on 6 hits over 9 innings of work.
"Rosy's a gamer," said New York manager John McGraw. "Glad he's on our side."
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Polo Grounds in New York.

Giants Hammered by Ruth, Drop Game 5 to Yankees
The New York Yankees have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading New York Giants, winning, 12-3, at Polo Grounds. Yankees left fielder Babe Ruth hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 6. The win cuts the deficit facing the Yankees to 3-2 in the best-of-7 World Series.
Ruth had an important at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the sixth, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Yankees went on to win.
New York manager John McGraw said: "We'll rinse this one off and get ready for the next game."
Game 6 is scheduled for Wednesday at Polo Grounds in New York.

Giants Win 1921 World Series
It was a hard-fought battle for both teams to make it this far. But as the saying goes, "to the victors go the spoils." For the victorious New York Giants, that meant the Major League Baseball World Series trophy.
The Giants took a 3-2 victory over the New York Yankees at Polo Grounds, winning their 6th championship after taking the series 4-2.
"We've got grit," said Giants left fielder Irish Meusel, who was named MVP of the series. "We know how to win when we have to."
The new titleholders completed the regular season with a first-place finish in the National League and a 99-54 record.
