The status is still "Waiting for review"... so, no one at Apple has looked at it yet. As soon as it changes to "In Review", we'll let you know. If it is approved in the first try, we will wait to the next Thursday for the release, since this greatly increases our chance to be 'featured' on the AppStore. (Don't ask me why, I have no clue, it's what Apple told us )

It will be released worldwide, so yes, you can get it in the UK App store.

So if it's approved the first time, we are looking at a May 5th release. If it's not approved until after May 5th, we could be looking at the 12th?

Call me a pessimist if you want, but considering that Apple featured a baseball app just a few weeks back (MLB '11), I'd be surprised if they chose to feature another baseball title so quickly.

Plus, it might increase the risk of the powers that be to again demand royalties (revisiting the lawsuit about using player names and so forth) for using names of teams and/or players anyway.

That app has nothing to do with gaming. It's MLB app for keeping up with all the games, stats of Major League Baseball (and a GREAT app it is!). So I would think that would be in another category all together. But who knows
