NMCs/NTCs
Could someone please explain how the NMCs/NTCs work with regards to trades in FHM5?
It seems players are prepared to waive their clauses when being traded to certain teams, but not to others. How does the game determine which teams a player will waive their clauses for, and which teams they won't? Can it change during a season or will this only change in the offseason (or not at all)?

I don't want to give away the exact decision-making mechanic for the players, but it's looking at the budget of the potential trading partner relative to the player's current team (it'll usually need to be bigger) as well as the recent performance of the potential partner. It'll change from year-to-year, but during the season it'll be pretty static.

Funny fact then is - players with NTCs/NMCs ALWAYS and ANYTIME accept trades to Toronto, Vegas & LA.
