Florida gets a SH goal at 15:12 of the 1st period as C Luke Tuin gets his 16th of the year and a 1-0 Florida lead. The period ends with the Panthers and Canadiens each with 11 shots. Florida is 0 for 1 on the PP while Montreal is 0 for 2.

There is no scoring in the 2nd and the score remains 1-0 for the Panthers. The shots in the period were 9 to 6 for Florida and both teams are now 0 for 4 on the PP.

Montreal scores on the PP at 6:08 of the 3rd to tie the score 1-1. RD Yegor Berestnev gets his 6th of the year. The remainder of the period is scoreless. The shots favoured Montreal 14 to 10 in the 3rd. Florida is 0 for 5 on the PP, Montreal is now 1 for 7.
