Hey all. Sorry I remain out of contact. I am keeping an eye on things, but person matters (my wife is headed to surgery later this week) have kept me VERY busy. I hope all is well for everyone.

Yes, there is finally Joy in Mudville!


It appears that Mudville's "magic number" is 19......19 years in Iron, that is!


Last night the streets of Mudville were packed with faithful fans celebrating Mudville's advancement to the Bronze League.



It was not a surprise to see Casey being at the center of attention.



After he finished a number of bottles of champagne, he was overheard saying that he never thought he'd live to see this day!


League officials were hoping that things would work out so that the Muffins could have battled their long time arch rival the Stephensville Bears for the Sub-League Championship, which would have created a ton of extra gate revenue however, Stephensville lost their Divisional Series in 5 games.


Mudville ended up advancing to the Iron .198 Championship Series, for the first time in their team's history however, they lost 4 games to 1 to the Los Vegas Phillies, a non-OL team, who they had not seen at all during the regular season.


At the press conference held this morning, Mudville's captain said that the team was super excited about playing in the new league and they hope to put on a good showing, right out of the starting gates.


Time will Tell!

No, anything 2019 is not eligible for OL play as they are all "Live" players/cards.

My wife has MS too, so if you ever need to chat about anything feel free to throw me a PM. I'm in the medical field so I understand and can communicate and understand a lot of information that others cannot, particularly about MS. It's not easy to be a caretaker,for sure.

At first pass Bronze will see 430 OL contests week. Given that 4 of the 5 teams in the American Central division are OL and 8 of the 13 OL teams are in the AC the list isn't surprising. Mudville is being ostracized sitting alone in NC East upon their promotion. The Mets and Ferns will have their hands full with the non-OL team West Michigan in the NC West.
